Our complimentary Kid's Crew and Teen's Crew programmes provide supervised, age-appropriate activities that will keep everyone happy from toddlers to teenagers.

Complementary Kid's Programme*
We've designed kid-friendly amenities into all of our ships. Besides our complimentary Kid's Crew and Teen's Crew programmes, we feature video arcades, movie theatres, a kids-only pool, kid-size buffets, PlayStation® games, our newest highlight the game console Nintendo Wii and a lot more. The kids will be taken care of by trained counsellors from 09:00 to 12:00, from 14:00 to 17:00, as well as from 19:00 to 22:00 - that's fun for parents and children. A group-sitting service for children aged 2 to 12 is available for a nominal fee from 22:00 to 01:30 at night as well as at days in port from 09:00 to 17:00.

What has to be taken into consideration if travelling with minors or if minors travel alone?
Please note that only infants over the age of six month are permitted to travel aboard the NCL Freestyle Cruising ships. For children up to two years, cribs are available on board. Due to US Public Health regulations, children using diapers or pull-ups, including swimmers, are not permitted to use the swimming pools or jacuzzis.
A guest under 21 years of age must be accompanied in the same or connecting stateroomby a guest 21 years or older who expressly agrees to be responsible for the under-21 guest throughout the cruise. Guests under 18 years (under 21 years on cruises that include a Canadian port) travelling in the company of an adult who is not the minor’s parent or legal guardian, must present a notarised parental/guardian consent letter that authorises the minor’s travel and further authorises medical treatment in case of an emergency to an NCL representative during check-in. On cruises that include a Canadian port, guests under 18 years travelling with a single-parent have to carry along an approval from the parent who is not travelling. Guests under 18 years of age are not allowed to purchase or consume alcohol aboard our fleet. Guests aged 18 to 20 who have the written consent of their parents or guardian, who must be on board the ship sailing with the minor, can purchase beer or wine for their personal consumption when the ship is sailing in international waters (except
Alaska and Hawai’i sailings, where guests must be 21 years or older to purchase and consume alcoholof any kind). Complete details and special consent forms are only available on board at the reception desk. Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed to gamble in our casinos. Should a guest under the age of 18 gamble nevertheless and win, he or she, for reasons of law,will not be paid the winnings. Guests from 13 to 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult when accessing the fitness centre. Children under 13 years of age are not allowed to access the fitness centre. Please note that the bowling alley located inside the Bliss Ultra Lounge cannot be used by guests under 21 after 21:00. This is due to the fact that the Bliss Ultra Lounge is an adults only (21 and over) club after 21:00, which means the presence of any guest under 21 will not be permitted after 21:00. Furthermore, some bars andlounges on board Norwegian Epic, for example Spice H2O, are adult only (21 and over). The minimum age to use the Thermal Spa (sauna, steam room, hot tubs) is 18. There is no minimum age requirement for the access to the rest of the spa as well as the beauty salon orthe use of salon services. For spa treatments a parent or legal guardian has to be present.
